// SECTION 01The agreement.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and EURL ZENATI, a French société à responsabilité limitée à associé unique registered with the Paris commercial register (RCS Paris) under SIREN 981 830 227, headquartered at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France, VAT FR42 981 830 227 ("BeauCV", "we", "us"). They apply when you use our website at beaucv.fr, our applications, and any other services we offer (together, "the Service").
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
// SECTION 02Your account.
You need to be at least 16 to use BeauCV. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. If something looks wrong, write to us at security@beaucv.fr and we'll help.
You can register only one personal account per person. Teams need a Coach plan.
// SECTION 03Your content.
Your résumé content is yours. We don't claim ownership over anything you put into BeauCV. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process your content solely so we can run the Service for you — and only for as long as you keep an account.
You're responsible for what you upload. Don't put anything in your résumé you don't have the right to share. Don't impersonate someone else.
Your warranties and indemnity. You warrant that you own or have the rights to the content you submit, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that you alone are responsible for the truthfulness of every statement in your résumé. You agree to indemnify and hold EURL ZENATI harmless from any third-party claim, loss, or expense arising from your content or from any use of the Service in breach of these Terms, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
// SECTION 04Acceptable use.
Things you may not do with BeauCV:
- Generate résumés or letters with knowingly false claims about your education, employment, or credentials.
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy law, or is otherwise unlawful.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying source code or private system internals.
- Resell access to the Service without a Coach plan.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm anyone.
If we find ongoing serious abuse, we may suspend or terminate the account. We'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.
// SECTION 05Payments & refunds.
The Service has a Free plan, a Pro plan, and a Coach plan. Pricing is shown at beaucv.fr/pricing. Paid plans renew automatically; cancel any time from your settings to stop the next renewal.
14-day refund. If you upgrade to a paid plan and change your mind within 14 days, email support@beaucv.fr and we'll refund you in full. After that window, we don't pro-rate unused time, but you keep paid features until the end of your billing period.
We may change pricing. Changes only apply to new billing periods, never retroactively, and we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.
// SECTION 06Our IP.
BeauCV, the BeauCV wordmark and logo, the templates we publish, and the editing systems we use are owned by us. The licence we give you is limited to using them through the Service.
If you give us feedback, ideas, or feature requests, we may use them without owing you anything in return — but we'll never use your résumé content for training. See the Privacy Policy.
// SECTION 07No warranties.
We work hard to keep BeauCV good and reliable, but we provide it "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, that Rewrites will always be perfect, or that you'll get the job. To the maximum extent allowed by law, BeauCV disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
A tool, not advice. BeauCV provides editing tools and automated, AI-assisted suggestions — not career, legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice. Automated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you must review and verify every result before relying on it or sending it to an employer.
// SECTION 08Limits on liability.
To the extent permitted by law, BeauCV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data.
Our total liability to you for anything related to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event, or (b) €100.
Time limit. Any claim relating to the Service must be brought within twelve (12) months of the event giving rise to it, to the extent permitted by law; otherwise it is permanently barred.
Force majeure. BeauCV is not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including failures of hosting, network, payment, or other third-party providers, force majeure, or your own equipment or connection.
What we never exclude. None of these limitations exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, or personal injury; if you are a consumer, your mandatory legal rights are unaffected.
// SECTION 09Termination.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, from Settings → Account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, with notice except in cases of urgent risk to the Service or others.
On termination, we'll let you export your data for 30 days before permanent deletion.
// SECTION 10Governing law & disputes.
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence within the European Union also apply. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France — except where mandatory consumer rules grant jurisdiction to the courts of your place of residence. Consumers may also, free of charge, refer the dispute to a consumer ombudsman (médiation de la consommation) after a prior written complaint to us.
These Terms are published in French, English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy between versions, the French version prevails.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. We may update these Terms; we'll email you and post 30 days' notice for material changes.
Assignment and whole agreement. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and — for paid plans — our CGV, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understanding.
